HOBAS Pipe Systems for Power Industry

Cooling Water Lines

As the demand for energy is rising steadily in virtually every country around the world, more power stations are also being built. Many of them are combined cycle power plants (CCPP) which significantly reduce the consumption of primary energy carriers thanks to their high efficiency. Like in all thermal power plants, the cooling water system plays a key role in a CCPP's steam process. After the steam passes through the tur- bine, the cooling water causes it to condense and it can then be returned to the process.

HOBAS Industrial Products have excellent thermal properties and are also capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions. The combination of extremely stiff pipes for buried sections and custom spools for the above-ground parts of the pipeline enables HOBAS to supply complete system solutions for power plants that meet all the customer's needs. Eco-friendly trenchless installation and using HOBAS Pipes for marine outfalls is also a problem-free option.
