Flood Mgmt

The floods of summer 2007 highlighted the threats to critical infrastructure from extreme rainfall events. The objectives of the conference are to:

• Bring together and consider the specific perspectives of a number of sectors managing critical infrastructure in responding to this challenge
• Refine the generic responses that will be needed to address the issues arising in a pragmatic fashion
• Enable delegates to share information that will help inform their responses to the initial Pitt Review and that highlights key generic issues across sectors
