HOBAS implements REACH Ordinance
HOBAS® implements the provisions of the REACH ordinance (EG) Nr. 1907/2006.
As a downstream user, HOBAS Group is implementing the provisions made in the REACH ordinance in close collaboration with suppliers (manufacturers, importers, dealers) with regards to the substances and preparations that are used.
In preparation for the pre-registration period (01.06.2008 – 31.12.2008) the substances and preparations of our suppliers have undergone a “substance inventory” in accordance with the provisions outlined in the REACH ordinance.
All suppliers have been contacted in order to check just how up-to-date and complete the safety data sheets, product descriptions and technical data sheets, etc. are.
After preregistering substances and preparations, our suppliers will continue to remain in contact and exchange information for creating the required safety reports and exposition scenarios.
No “alarming substances” (CMR, PBT, VPVP, etc.) are used within HOBAS Group.
