Process Communication
HOBAS use sophisticated process communication to link sensors (switches, measurement decices, etc.) and actuators (motors, valves, etc.) to the central processors (CPUs), which automatically control all the production processes. Its prime features are high speed and security.
Data Communication
HOBAS data communication is a future-oriented system for electronic data interchange between the process and control levels. These networks are capable of transmitting large volumes of information, such as pipe designs, recipes, error and status messages, operating and production data.
Information Technology (IT)
HOBAS IT links the manufacturing and process levels to the office environment. The communication systems available are office networks (Ethernet), the internet and telephone for global networking. A special area of IT is MPI communication, which is implemented worldwide for maintenance and teleservice.
