HOBAS® CC-GRP WaterLine®

The extension project was co-financed by the EU program ISPA and involved the reconstruction of a part of the existing DN 600 potable water main running along the same railway track and from the highway to the river Bilina. All in all 5.7 km of HOBAS CC-GRP WaterLine® Systems DN 500, PN 16, SN 10000 were utilized for the project that was completed in 2006.Between Libesice u Zelenic and the Ledvice power plant, the line passes beneath roads, along the river Bilina, beneath a camping site, a public pool, a sports ground, gardens and green space until it finally reaches the wall of the trained river. From here on the original steel pipe on suspensions was preserved and the protective pipe around it was exchanged for HOBAS Pipes. The line continues through green space, roads and the train station and ends in a shaft. The section between the station and another shaft, which also connects to the Chlum water reservoir, was already reconstructed in 1999 and reconstruction works could be taken up from that point ending at Ledvice power plant.


Trinkwasser durch belebtes Stadtgebiet

In einem zweiten Projektschritt sollte ein weiterer Teil der bestehenden Rohrleitung saniert und diese gleichzeitig erweitert werden. Zur Sanierung des Hauptwasserkanals DN 600 wurden HOBAS® WaterLine® Rohre DN 500, PN 16, SN 10000 verwendet. Der neue Teil verläuft zum Großteil neben der Eisenbahnstrecke zwischen der Autobahn und dem Fluss Bílina und wurde als eines der ISPA Projekte von der EU ko-finanziert. Insgesamt wurden bei diesem Projekt HOBAS® Rohre in der Länge von 5.738 m verlegt. Zwischen Libešice u Želenic und dem Kraftwerk Ledvice verläuft die Wasserleitung unter anderem entlang Straßen, dem Fluss Bílina, unter einem Campingplatz, dem öffentlichen Schwimmbad, einem Sportplatz, Gärten und Grünflächen und mündet schließlich in den Kanal des Bílina Flusses. In diesem Abschnitt ist die Rohrleitung auf Aufhängungen im Tunnel des Bílina Flusses montiert. Hier sollte die existierende Stahlleitung erhalten bleiben; HOBAS® Rohre als Hülle schützen die Stahlrohre nun vor Korrosion. Im weiteren Verlauf passiert die Rohrleitung Grünflächen, Straßen, einen Bahnhof und mündet in einem Schacht. Der Abschnitt zwischen dem Bahnhof und dem Schacht, der mit dem Chlum Wasserstaubecken verbunden ist, wurde bereits 1999 erneuert. Schlussendlich führt die Wasserleitung zum Kraftwerk Ledvice und versorgt so die Bevölkerung mit frischem Trinkwasser.
